Heartbeat of a Woman is a “GOD” inspired, inter-denominational, Christian gathering based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is clearly the Lord’s desire that Christian women connect in order to encourage, disciple, and reach out in their communities. This dynamic event offers women the opportunity to spend a day in worship, instruction, and fellowship.
Heartbeat of a Woman believes that knowing Jesus Christ and living according to His words will bring meaning to our lives and stability to our families.
Heartbeat of a Woman was birthed in the heart of Bobbie Hagar, a gifted events coordinator. She had recently read “The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren, and she began seeking God’s will and purpose for her life. She traveled to Denver with friends to attend a Women of Faith conference. The group decided to stay overnight because of the distances. While at the event, God began speaking to her about hosting a similar event locally so that it would be available to those who could neither travel nor afford to spend a weekend away from home or work.
For six weeks, God expressed his desire to revive, restore, and renew women in Colorado Springs. He gave Bobbie a vision of women from all walks of life gathering together in praise, song, and fellowship. In faith, she accepted the assignment, asking the Lord to help her form a committee of ladies who shared her vision. How true it is that nothing is impossible when God is leading!
The Heartbeat of a Woman Conference is a yearly event designed as a time of renewal for Christians and as an outreach for the lost. We hope that those who attend our conferences find hope, encouragement and a changed heart.
We thank the following committee of women for seeing the vision of Heartbeat of a Woman and giving selflessly
of their time and energy: M.J. Biscaro, Barbi Harris, Deborah Hendrix, Sue Bruner, Debbie Adams, Marie Lanning,
Barb Roth and Bobbie Hagar.
