Dr. Donna WilcoxDr. Donna Wilcox has a PhD in Counseling, with a focus in Christian Counseling. She is a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and Group Facilitator. She is also an Ordained Chaplain with a Master’s Degree in Theology. Donna has spent a number of years in youth and music ministry, missions, motivational speaking in churches and schools (both nationally and internationally). She loves working with Hospice as a Chaplain and Bereavement Counselor, and has over 20 years of experience in mental health, family, and substance abuse counseling.

Donna’s autobiography, Falling into Faith was both challenging and therapeutic to write. While filled with humorous and delightful stories of Donna’s life, it also details her struggles with sickness, shame, regret, feelings of insecurity and inferiority. Due to the blood disease being misdiagnosed for years, Donna endured numerous unnecessary surgeries, physical internal damage, dangerous medications with harmful side-affects, and just as devastating… tremendous emotional distress from years of suffering! Feeling incomplete as a woman and scared of the unknown, after the hysterectomy she broke up with the love of her life. She felt Bob deserved better. But nothing takes God by surprise and He still had an amazing plan for their lives.

Overcoming years of emotional and physical suffering proved difficult, but God stayed faithful and full of mercy. Seventeen years after their breakup, Bob and Donna reunited with a second chance at love. Before their new beginning could even get off the ground, their faith was once again tested with the diagnosis of a rare, reoccurring malignant soft tissue sarcoma. Standing in faith, they forged ahead putting their total trust in Jesus Christ and the Word of God. Throughout the process, they began learning how to truly fall into a trust relationship with God as He miraculously came on the scene, COMPLETELY healing Donna’s body. It took years to discover the joy and blessings that awaited Bob and Donna, but God’s plans are never lacking, late, or incomplete! In 2007, Donna released a Devotional titled, “Trouble, Triumph and Truth.”
